Return and Refund Policy

At The Witty Hand, we ensure that every kids stationery and toy product is carefully checked and securely packed before dispatch. Since most of our products are delicate and meant for gifting or personal use, we accept returns only under specific conditions mentioned below.

1. When Return Is Accepted
We accept return requests only in the following cases:

  • The product received is damaged during transit.
  • A wrong product was delivered.
  • The product has a manufacturing defect.

Returns will not be accepted for reasons such as change of mind, dislike of the product, minor color differences due to screen settings, or discounted/sale items.

2. Mandatory Unboxing Video
To be eligible for a return:

  • The customer must record a clear, continuous unboxing video from the moment the sealed package is opened.
  • The video must clearly show:
  • The sealed outer package
  • The shipping label with order details
  • The product condition after opening

This video is compulsory for claim verification. Without proper video proof, we will not be able to process any return, replacement, or refund request.

3. Reporting Timeline

  • The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Complaints raised after 48 hours will not be considered.

You can report the issue by emailing us with your order number, clear images, and the unboxing video.

4. Product Condition for Return

  • The product must be unused.
  • It must be returned in original packaging with all tags, accessories, and invoice (if applicable).

If the returned product is found used or damaged (not due to our fault), the request may be rejected.

5. Return Approval & Process

  • Our team will review your request within 2–3 working days.
  • If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup (subject to service availability).
  • In areas where reverse pickup is not available, customers may be required to self-ship the product.

6. Refund Process

  • Refund will be processed only after receiving and inspecting the returned product.
  • Refund will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 working days after approval.
  • For Cash on Delivery orders, refund will be processed via bank transfer or UPI.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
